Oilseed rape
Czechia
AMALGEROL®
In a standardised field trial with small plots and 6 replicates per treatment, the Mendel University Brünn (Brno) tested AMALGEROL on oilseed rape in two subsequent years (1999/2000 and 2000/2001).
AMALGEROL was applied with a dose of 5 l/ha in 400 l water comparing at 4 different times including combinations (regeneration treatment in autumn, and in early March as well as an early and a late productive treatment).
The results of the trial show that AMALGEROL does increase yield (Fig. 1) while the oil content stays stable or is even elevated at the same time (Fig. 2). This leads in combination to a higher oil yield per hectare.
The results suggest that the productive treatments (early and late) between BBCH 30 (beginning of stem elongation) and BBCH 50 (inflorescence ergence) have the biggest effect. In this phase the plant is forming side shoots and flowers which determine how many pods are formed in the end.
+ up to 26 % more yield
+ stable or elevated oil content
+ April treatments had the best effect
