Higher potato yield through more tubers with AMALGEROL

Farmer trial with potato in Pusztamérges, Hungary, 2006: Half of the potato field serves as farm control, the other half receives 2 foliar applications of AMALGEROL (2 x 3 l/ha).

In the middle of July the difference becomes very visible: the leaves of the AMALGEROL-treated plants are much greener (Fig. 1, 2). Digging potato plants out reveales also more tubers per plant (up to 45 %, Fig. 3, 4).

The final evaluation of the yield per row results in 1,1 kg yield from the untreated versus 1,6 kg from the AMALGEROL-treated row, respectively.
