70 Years of Experience for the Future of Sustainable Farming
Mag. Georg Hechenbichler, Hechenbichler GmbH, Austria
AMALGEROL by Hechenbichler: 70 years of experience driving the future of sustainable farming. The product offers key benefits for sustainable agriculture, including its ability to mitigate crop stress caused by frost, drought, heavy rain, and herbicide damage. It promotes soil health by activating soil life, boosting beneficial bacteria, and improving the decomposition of harvest residues, leading to a significant increase in soil organic matter. Additionally, AMALGEROL enhances root growth, improving nutrient and water uptake, which results in higher yields across various crops and regions.

AMALGEROL in Greece and the benefits of its use
Sophocles Mylonas, ELANCO HELLAS S.A.C.I., Greece
AMALGEROL has been successfully utilized in Greece since 2009, initially tested on greenhouse crops like cucumbers and tomatoes, and later expanded to over 25 cultivations, showing significant improvements in plant vigor and root systems. The product has demonstrated effectiveness in recovering plants from non-parasitic damage such as hail, herbicide effects, and frost, while also enhancing nutrient absorption and increasing fruit size and yield. Sales of AMALGEROL have consistently grown, making it a leading product in its category for ELANCO HELLAS, and its application is recognized as a key component of a comprehensive fertilizer program.

AMALGEROL in Czech Republic
Ing. Josef Novotný, Amalgerol CZ s.r.o., Czech Republic
The presentation focuses on the use of AMALGEROL PREMIUM in various crops across the Czech Republic, including rape, winter wheat, spring barley, sugar beet, poppy, potatoes, vegetables, and corn. AMALGEROL PREMIUM applications are shown to mitigate damage from hail, heavy damage, herbicide treatment, and flooding in sugar beet crops over several weeks and months. The presentation highlights the successful results and positive effects of AMALGEROL PREMIUM in these agricultural scenarios.

AMALGEROL on potato crop
Xanthos Georgiou, Costas Christodoulou Ltd., Cyprus
Potato cultivation in Cyprus plays a significant role as a major export crop, with its unique qualities attributed to the local climate and soil. AMALGEROL is applied to potato crops in three treatments totaling 15 liters per hectare, beginning after 80% germination and continuing at 14-day intervals. The use of AMALGEROL results in stronger root systems, healthier plants, reduced nematode damage, larger and more uniform tubers, and improved stress resilience following adverse weather or herbicide application

AMALGEROL in Ukraine: first experience and further growth
Ekaterina Romanenkova, Summit-Agro Ukraine Ltd., Ukraine
AMALGEROL was first registered in Ukraine in 2017 for greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes, later expanding to other crops like apples, grapes, soybeans, and oilseed rape. Demonstrations and trials in 2017 and 2018 showed AMALGEROL's effectiveness as an anti-stressant and biostimulant, improving plant recovery from pesticide stress and enhancing yield in various crops including grapevine and winter wheat. Promotional efforts, including advertising, conferences, and online recommendations, contributed to increased sales of AMALGEROL across a range of crops in Ukraine, with plans for further expansion and promotion in organic farming and larger acreages in 2019.

AMALGIPEDIA
Dr. Jürgen Hacker, Hechenbichler GmbH, Austria
The AMALGIPEDIA trial database is introduced as a global collection of AMALGEROL trial data, designed to serve as a community asset for sharing experiences and enhancing product use. The database includes trial results from various countries and crops, highlighting AMALGEROL's impact on yield, fruit size, and stress reduction. Access to AMALGIPEDIA is planned for early 2019, providing broader engagement and enabling the use of the data for marketing, sales, and collaborative growth.

A Glance into the Future
Dr. Jürgen Hacker, Hechenbichler GmbH, Austria
The presentation introduces the AMALGEROL product family, which includes AMALGEROL, AMALGEROL ESSENCE, and AMALGEROL GRANULE, each with specific formulations and application methods. AMALGEROL ESSENCE is a pure organic, soluble liquid fertilizer with nutrients, while AMALGEROL GRANULE is an organic-mineral, water-soluble granule containing both organic and mineral nutrients, along with humic acids. Trial results demonstrate that both AMALGEROL ESSENCE and AMALGEROL GRANULE lead to increased yields, higher root biomass, and improved sugar content in various crops such as apples, grapevines, spring wheat, and sunflowers.

AMALGEROL - Trials in Croatia
Nenad Bižić, Bacopa d.o.o., Croatia
AMALGEROL ESSENCE trials in Croatia across various crops, including Welsch Riesling grapes, celery, aronia, cherry Regina, and landscaping projects, have shown consistently positive results. Applications led to increased yields, improved sugar content in grapes, larger celery sizes, higher aronia yields, and earlier cherry harvesting with higher market prices. In landscaping, AMALGEROL treatment improved rooting, shoot growth, and reduced damage from harsh environmental conditions compared to untreated controls.

AMALGEROL Essence - a product of the future!
Ivan Rangelov, Hechenbichler Representation Office in Republic of Bulgaria, Romania & Moldova
Application of AMALGEROL ESSENCE improves soil structure and fertility, activates soil microorganisms, and enhances mycorrhiza development, leading to increased nutrient and water absorption by plants. Practical experiments show that AMALGEROL ESSENCE significantly increases yields in crops like sunflower and maize, often at lower dose rates compared to traditional AMALGEROL.

AMALGEROL results in olive
Pedro Jesus Espinosa, FMC Agricultural Solution SAU, Spain
AMALGEROL has proven effective in olive tree cultivation, particularly in super-intensive crops in Spain. Trials demonstrate that its application, through both irrigation and foliar treatment, results in higher yields, improved fruit size, and enhanced oil content compared to untreated controls. The recommended application times include key growth stages such as spring bud break, flowering, fruit development, and autumn bud break, with tailored dosages for different types and ages of olive trees.
