A novel approach in the assessment of the effectiveness of AMALGEROL as a stress-appeaser in crops
Zsolt Pónya, PhD, Department of Agronomy, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Hungary
A novel approach is used to assess AMALGEROL's effectiveness as a stress appeaser in crops by examining the concept of "life as a wave" and cellular memory. The study explores epigenetic mechanisms, the central dogma of DNA-RNA-protein, and the role of secondary metabolites in plant defense. Biophoton emission measurements demonstrate that AMALGEROL-treated plants exhibit significantly lower emissions, indicating reduced stress levels compared to untreated plants.

AMALGEROL Research and updates on current trials and registrations
Dr. Jürgen Hacker, Hechenbichler GmbH, Austria
AMALGEROL research in 2021 included field trials, registrations, and bioassays, particularly focusing on root growth and drought stress. A bioassay with tomato side shoots demonstrated that AMALGEROL ESSENCE significantly promoted the development of more side and fine roots compared to the control. In a drought stress trial with tomatoes, AMALGEROL ESSENCE reduced the negative impact of stress, leading to higher biomass and fruit production compared to stressed plants without the treatment.

Enhancing the action of herbicides in the treatment of maize with AMALGEROL ESSENCE
Aleksandar Metodiev, Hechenbichler Representation Office for Bulgaria, Romania & Moldova
Maize treated with herbicide alone showed no immediate visible results, while maize treated with the same herbicide plus AMALGEROL ESSENCE demonstrated a significantly faster absorption of nutrients and a visible effect on weeds within 48 hours, with almost complete weed elimination in four days. In a separate case involving herbicide stress due to high temperatures, the application of AMALGEROL ESSENCE led to a visible improvement in plant development, color, and growth within 12 days. The addition of AMALGEROL ESSENCE enhances herbicide action and mitigates stress in maize crops.

FMC - 2021 Field Experience with AMALGEROL - Peach, Almond, Potato & Carrot
Claudia Monllor, FMC Agricultural Solutions SAU, Spain
Field trials conducted in Spain during 2020-2021 demonstrated AMALGEROL's positive impact on various crops including peach, almond, potato, and carrot. The application of AMALGEROL improved soil respiration rates, increased bacterial colonies, and enhanced nutrient availability for plants, leading to better yields and fruit sizes. Results showed significant increases in harvest weight, fruit size distribution, and commercial tuber production with AMALGEROL treatment compared to control groups.

Herbicide stress tolerance of AMALGEROL in sunflower and soybean
Dr. Zsolt Varga, HECHTA Kft., Hungary
Trials in Hungary focused on the use of AMALGEROL and AMALGEROL ESSENCE to mitigate herbicide stress in sunflower and soybean crops caused by imazamox. Results showed that both products were effective in reducing phytotoxicity, particularly when applied as a medicative treatment several days after herbicide application. AMALGEROL ESSENCE demonstrated faster stress recovery, likely due to its amino acid content, and proved beneficial when used in tank mixes with higher doses of imazamox.

AMALGEROL Academy - A growing source of knowledge
Dr. Elisabeth Grund, Hechenbichler GmbH, Austria
The AMALGEROL Academy aims to provide upskilling and fundamental agricultural knowledge, focusing on soil, plants, biostimulants, and the AMALGEROL product family. Topics of high interest include AMALGEROL with crops and stress management, as determined by a survey. The Academy will offer various formats such as seminars, webinars, and on-demand video courses, expanding upon existing knowledge resources like the International AMALGEROL Conference and AMALGIPEDIA.

Back to the roots: biological solutions in agriculture
Dr. István Parádi, ExperiPlant Ltd., Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary
Agricultural research is currently focused on the potential of soil's immense biological diversity, including various microorganisms like Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria, endophytic fungi, and microalgae, to enhance plant performance and soil health. The roles of these organisms range from nutrient fixation and solubilization to biocontrol and the priming of plant defense mechanisms. Future strategies may involve genetic modification of these organisms, selection of plants that support beneficial microbiota, and optimizing inoculum application methods to create a major paradigm shift in agriculture.

AMALGEROL & biocides Twin Pack technologies in Hungary
Attila Takács, HECHTA Kft., Hungary
The presentation focuses on the use of AMALGEROL in combination with biocides in Hungary, specifically addressing the EU's Green Deal targets and increasing plant protection challenges. It introduces two product packs: Tigra® + Amalgerol® Pack, targeting Sclerotinia spp., and Amalgerol® Protect Pack, targeting Fusarium spp. These packs aim to enhance microbial life in the soil and can be applied at various stages of crop growth, often alongside pesticides and liquid fertilizers.

AMALGEROL Starter with MEERKALK in corn
Paul Moga-Paler, Hechenbichler GmbH, Austria
The combination of MEERKALK and AMALGEROL aims to improve soil structure, nutrient availability, and microbial activity, leading to better crop establishment and yield stability. Field trials in Romania demonstrated that applying MEERKALK and Amalgerol WG resulted in improved corn development with multiple cobs per stem, and AMALGEROL STARTER enhanced sunflower growth.

Experience in marketing in the middle of a pandemic
Maria Dimitrova, Hechenbichler Representation Offi ce for Bulgaria, Romania & Moldova
Marketing strategies shifted during the pandemic, moving from a focus on technical meetings to increased digital marketing and PR publications. A strong PR campaign was launched across Bulgaria and Romania, utilizing various channels such as radio, agricultural magazines, websites, social media, and TV spots. This resulted in significant online engagement, with hundreds of thousands of views on PR articles and web banners promoting AMALGEROL ESSENCE.
