AMALGEROL®

Earlier flowering and higher yield with AMALGEROL

AMALGEROL was tested in a farmer field trial where half of the field received AMALGEROL and the other half served as farm control.

At planting, 5 l/ha AMALGEROL were applied to the soil. After that, the potatoes received two times 3 l/ha AMALGEROL with foliar spray (11 l/ha in total).

The AMALGEROL-treated half of the field (see foto on the left, left part) flowered earlier than the untreated part (right part).

This means AMALGEROL shortens the growing period of the potatoes, they ripen earlier or can grow longer.

The hand sampling of 8 plants revealed that AMALGEROL increased yield by 40 % (8,8 vs 12,3 kg, Fig. 3, 4), tuber number (97 vs 106 tubers) and makes size distribution more uniform (Fig. 2).

+ earlier flowering

+ 40 % more yield
