More wheat to eat: yield increase with AMALGEROL in Bulgaria

This trial was one of a series of demo field trials conducted at the Institute for plant genetic resources "K. Malkov" in Sadovo, Bulgaria.

One foliar application of AMALGEROL at the end of tillering/ beginning ot stem elongation considerably increased wheat yield by 7 % (dose: 2 l/ha) and 15 % (dose: 4 l/ha) respectively. In addition, AMALGEROL also improved the overall phytosanitary condition of the plants. The ears from the untreated wheat seem to be smaller than the ears of the treated wheat (see photo).
