AMALGEROL®
This Polish farmer tried AMALGEROL for the first time. He tested the product on his fields in two potato varieties: Elvira and Scala.
In variety Elvira, AMALGEROL was applied 2 times with 3,5 l/ha to the treated half of the field. The other half served as farm control and did not receive AMALGEROL.
+ 24 % more yield in variety Elvira
In the variety Scala, the farmer compared AMALGEROL at two dose rates (1 x 2,5 l/ha vs. 1 x 3,75 l/ha). There was no farm control. The higher dose rate brought 20 % more yield.
Fig. 1. "Elvira" hand sampling: in the farm control the sample weighed 26,7 kg whereas the sample of the AMALGEROL-treated potatoes weighed 33,1 kg. This corresponds to a yield increase of 24 %.
Fig. 2. The two bags on the left contain the "Scala" samples treated with 1 x 2,5 l/ha AMALGEROL (23,9 kg). The two bags on the right contain the samples treated with a higher dose of AMALGEROL (1 x 3,75 l/ha; 28,8 kg), which corresponds to 20 % more yield.
Fig. 3. Variety "Scala" is a late variety. Leaves were still green when the sampling was done.
