AMALGEROL-treated sunflowers produced 30 % more yield in dry summer

Sunflowers are an important crop in Romania. To test the effect of AMALGEROL on sunflowers, half of a field received the standard treatment with Pelican500 and a post-emergent graminicide whereas the other half of the field received in addition to the standard treatment 3 l/ha AMALGEROL (included in the tank mix).

Under the dry conditions in 2011, the difference became clearly visible. AMALGEROL-treated sunflowers were much taller than those of the control. This difference was even more pronounced with a 30 % higher yield.
