AMALGEROL®
A detailed counting was conducted in India in 2011 to shed light onto the question if AMALGEROL does increase the number of beans per pod and the number of pods per plant.
For the demonstration trial, one plot was left untreated while another plot was treated with AMALGEROL. Five plants were randomly chosen from each of the plots and their pods were counted according to the number of beans inside (Fig. 1).
The 5 AMALGEROL-treated soybean plants produced 252 pods while the 5 untreated plants produced 179 pods only (Fig. 2). AMALGEROL also led to a higher 1000 kernel weight (Fig. 3).
The photos taken, also indicate that AMALGEROL treated plants form more side shoots.
