Increased sunflower yield with AMALGEROL on sandy soil

This Czech farmer grew sunflowers on relatively sandy soil. Under these circumstances, a good root development is beneficial to support the top-heavy plants. Therefore, half of the sunflower field received 4 l/ha AMALGEROL with the herbicides. The rest of the field received the herbicides only.

The result was impressive. This one application increased the yield by 22 %. The treated sunflowers seemed to have bigger heads and larger roots, but no representative measurements were conducted.
