We would like to point out that we store the following data for the purpose of order processing: Contact data, bank details, VAT number. The data provided by you are necessary for fulfilment of the contract and for any pre-contractual actions. Without these data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data are not transmitted to third parties, except to the production company contracted by us and the logistics company for preparation of the goods, the transport company for delivery of the goods, and our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our fiscal duties.
If a contract is concluded, all data relevant to the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the retention period under tax law (7 years).
In addition, the data name, address, goods purchased and purchase data will be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are very small text files that are saved on your terminal with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our offering more user-friendly. Some cookies remain saved on your terminal until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser when you visit us again.
If you do not want this, you can change your browser settings so that it informs you when cookies are to be saved and you can allow this on a case-by-case basis.
The functionality of our website may be restricted if cookies are deactivated.
Web Analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Thereby, cookies are used that allow the use of a website by its users to be analysed. The information thus generated is transmitted to a server of the provider and stored there.
You can prevent this by changing the settings of your browser so that cookies are not saved.
We have concluded an appropriate data processing contract with the provider.
Google LLC is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and has undertaken to comply with the EU data protection regulations. You can read the data privacy policy of Google LLC here.
The relationship with the web analysis provider is based on the US-EU data protection agreement Privacy Shield.
The data will be processed on the basis of the statutory regulations in Art 6 Par. 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR is to improve our offering and our website. Since our users’ private sphere is important to us, the user data will be pseudonymised. The user data will be stored for a period of 24 months.
Newsletter
You have the option to register for our newsletter. To register, we only require your email address, which will not be shared with third parties. Providing your email address is the only mandatory requirement for receiving the newsletter. Any additional data you provide is entirely voluntary. Our newsletters contain promotional information, particularly about our latest and most interesting offers.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletter registration. This means that after you register, we will send an email to the address you provided, asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that no one can register using someone else's email address. The purpose of this procedure is to document your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any potential misuse of your personal data; logging the registration process is in our legitimate interest, and the newsletter is sent based on your explicit consent.
Once you have confirmed, we will store your email address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time without providing reasons and unsubscribe from the newsletter. Therefore, you can click the unsubscribe link provided in every newsletter email, email us at info@amalgerol.com, or send a message to the contact information provided in the imprint.
Data Usage When Registering for the Email Newsletter
When you sign up for our newsletter, we use the data required for this purpose, or data you provide separately, to regularly send you our email newsletter.
After your registration, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your subscription. You will only start receiving the newsletter once you have confirmed your registration.
If you consent, we use technologies such as tracking pixels or tracking URLs to collect statistical data on the use of the newsletter. This allows us, for example, to understand how often the newsletter is opened or which links are clicked. Such tracking is carried out only with your explicit consent, which you provide when agreeing to receive the newsletter.
You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter and to newsletter tracking at any time with future effect. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link provided in the newsletter or by contacting us through the method listed below. Tracking will be immediately discontinued upon withdrawal of your consent.
Your Rights
You generally have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and to object to processing. If you believe that the processing of your data is in breach of data protection law, or that your rights under the data protection law have otherwise been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the regulatory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority.
