Stronger Starts for Tomato Seedlings with AMALGEROL Essence in Ukraine

In partnership with Summit Agro LLC, the team recently launched a production experiment using AMALGEROL Essence, a unique biostimulant designed to enhance root development and plant immunity - safely and effectively.

The Breakthrough: Biostimulation with Purpose

“This product doesn’t act like typical micro-fertilizers,” explained a Summit Agro representative. Instead of directly feeding the plant, AMALGEROL Essence activates the regeneration of fine root hairs, increasing nutrient absorption and promoting overall vigor. On March 26, tomato seeds sown into Bronk Ve Sadu substrate were treated with a 0.8% solution. Within days, clear differences began to emerge between treated and untreated plants - starting at the roots.

A Visible, Tangible Impact

From the first sampling, the transformation was striking. “In treated trays, the roots formed dense, web-like networks,” said a team member. “The stems were thicker, the leaves broader.” Compared to the control group, seedlings treated with AMALGEROL Essence developed stronger, more uniform structures - a crucial foundation for healthy transplantation and long-term yield. The team even noted a visual improvement in immunity, a critical factor during early plant development.

A Smarter, Simpler Way to Feed

Unlike traditional fertilizers, AMALGEROL Essence encourages the plant to feed itself, drawing nutrients as needed from the soil - “like a supermarket,” one agronomist described. This dynamic balance, driven by renewed root hairs, allows plants to self-regulate and absorb only what they require for each phase of growth. The result? Healthier plants, greater consistency, and fewer inputs needed to achieve optimum outcomes.

Next Steps: Building on Success

Following the successful initial treatment, the team plans to repeat the process during the two true leaves stage, using a 0.5% solution for reinforcement. “At this stage, the plant begins real photosynthesis,” they explained. “Treating again will help strengthen it further.” The ease of mixing - creating a homogenous, water-soluble solution - makes AMALGEROL ESSENCE a practical tool for both industrial-scale and small-farm applications.
